KBS Sealant is a trowelable halogen-free putty to be used as a joint ller and sealer for KBS penetra- tion seals (KBS Panel Seal) and re separating walls. It is ideal for a toxic gas, hot and cold smoke seal. KBS Sealant can be used internally and externally. KBS Sealant consists of water-based thermoplastic resins, inorganic incombustible bres, llers, pigments and ame retardant chemicals. KBS Sealant is free of solvents.
KBS Sealant can be used for plastic pipes, single electrical cables and cable bundles up to 65mm diam- eter, but only as a toxic gas, hot and cold smoke seal. It is NOT a re-rated sealant.
KBS Sealant can be used for wall and ceiling penetrations.
