The Foam-Water Sprinklers are designed with a unique venturi style body. As foam sulution (Water and foam concentrate mixture) ow through the inlet of body, air is drawn into the body through the operation adjacent to the wrenching area. The foam solution and air mix is then agitated to create an air-aspirated foam. The Foam-water Sprinkler are designed to discharge foam in a pre-determined discharge water similar to standard spray sprinkler. To meet the intent of NFPA 16, foam-water sprin- klers must be able to suf ciently distribute water after depletion of the foam concentrate.
